LAS CRUCES, NM – Las Cruces Public Schools announced that the shelter in place at Camino Real Middle School has been lifted. The decision followed a police investigation that determined a report of a possible weapon on campus was unfounded. All students and staff are reported to be safe, and school will resume as scheduled.
