New Mexico Hosts Statewide National Night Out

New Mexico State Police will host National Night Out across the state on August 5 and August 9. The free event takes place in multiple locations, featuring food trucks, music, games, and law enforcement recruitment opportunities.

In Artesia, the event will be held on August 5 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Starbucks, located at 1905 W Main St, Artesia, NM 88210. In Las Cruces, the festivities are scheduled for August 5 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Main Street Downtown.

The Clovis event will be on August 5 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. along 21st Street. In Truth or Consequences the event will take place on August 5 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Armijo Park, located at 2800 S Broadway St, Truth or Consequences, NM 87901.

In Deming, the event is set for August 5 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Luna County Courthouse Park, located at 700 S Silver Ave, Deming, NM 88030. Lordsburg will host the event on August 5 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Lordsburg Swimming Pool, Short Park, 610 W 2nd St, Lordsburg, NM 88045.

Carlsbad will host National Night Out on August 9 from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Lake Carlsbad Beach Park, located at 708 Park Dr, Carlsbad, NM 88220.

The event is family friendly and focuses on building safer communities and strengthening partnerships between local law enforcement and community members.
