Las Cruces Summer Swim Lessons Registration Opens May 11

Las Cruces Parks and Recreation has announced that Summer Swim Lessons will take place from Monday, May 13, 2024, to Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the Las Cruces Natatorium located at 1405 E Hadley Ave.

The classes will run Monday through Thursday, with eight classes per session. The class times for Learn to Swim lessons for children aged 6 to 12 and Pre-School Lessons for children aged 4 to 5 are as follows:

- Level 1: 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m

- Level 2: 4:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.

- Level 3: 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The cost per session for Levels 1 and 2 is $45, while Level 3 is $60.

Registration will be held in person at the Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center on 1401 E. Hadley Ave. from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024.

Participants who do not possess a Red Cross Completion certificate must undergo a swim evaluation if they wish to register for Level 2 and above. Swim evaluations will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2024, through Thursday, May 9, 2024.

No swim evaluations will be conducted during registration times. Class space is limited, so interested individuals are encouraged to mark their calendars and register early.
