Las Cruces has announced the winners of the 2024 Electric Light Parade, organized by the City of Las Cruces and Las Cruces Parks and Recreation. The Best Overall Float award was given to Hernandez Plumbing Heating and Cooling. In the Commercial Float category, the 1st place went to Little Playmates, 2nd place to The Salvation Army Las Cruces Corps, and 3rd place to Zia Natural Gas company. For Non-Commercial Floats, Amantes de Los Globos de Las Cruces took the 1st place, Las Cruces Police / Boys & Girls Club of Las Cruces the 2nd place, and Friends of the Community the 3rd place. This year's theme was "Rockin’ In The USA!". The event showcased amazing creativity and community spirit. The City of Las Cruces expressed gratitude to everyone involved in making the parade memorable.
