Zia Middle School Choir Sings with Foreigner

On Wednesday night, the Zia Middle School Thunderbird Choir performed with the rock band Foreigner at the Pan American Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The choir joined the band on stage for the encore, singing “I Wanna Know What Love Is.”

Foreigner's lead singer, Kelly Hansen, spoke to the audience about the significance of fine arts programs in schools. He emphasized that budget cuts often impact music programs, which can be vital for students' self-expression and involvement in the arts.
