The Thomas Branigan Memorial Library in Las Cruces, New Mexico, will host a day of disaster films on Saturday, October 5th. Attendees can watch a variety of popular disaster movies, ranging from classic films from the 1970s to modern action films featuring actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. This event will take place all day at the library. While October is often associated with horror movies, the library is focusing on the theme of nature as a source of horror through the lens of films depicting sudden life-or-death situations.
